What I Wrote in March 2022

One of the hardest things about being an unpublished writer is not being able to talk about what you’re working on.

Okay, I can talk about what I’m working on but I can’t spill too much because I want to save the fun details for the future, when I’m ready to publish.

But I’d like share more about what I’m writing, so every month I’ll post an update without giving away any spoilers.

So, without further ado, here’s what I wrote in March 2022:

Finished the developmental edits of book one in a series I hope to publish next year

I’m slowly working my towards self-publishing my first book, which is book one in a three book series. I’d love to release all three books within a six month period, but I’m not sure my finances will allow that to happen. In case some of you are not aware, self-publishing is expensive when you’re paying for all your own editors and cover designers. If only I could win the lottery and be able to afford to hire the best editors and cover designers in the business. But since I can’t, I have to make decisions based on my checking account.

Wrote draft one of book two in a new series

I began working on a new four book series (I’ve written standalones and a couple three book series before this) and I’m super excited about the premise and I love all the characters.

Started draft one of book three in a new series

I should probably just copy and paste what I wrote above. I’d love to give more info but I want to save it for teasers in the future. It really is killing me that I can’t be specific. How about I give you a vague summary. The series is about a group of men who are named Phoenix’s most eligible bachelors and that’s all I’m going to say for now.
