What I Wrote in February 2023

One of the hardest things about being an unpublished writer is not being able to talk about what you’re working on.

Okay, I can talk about what I’m working on but I can’t spill too much because I want to save the fun details for the future, when I’m ready to publish.

But I’d like share more about what I’m writing, so every month I’ll post an update without giving away any spoilers.

So, without further ado, here’s what I wrote in February 2023:

Finished draft one of a second chance, the first in a new ten book series

I’m very happy with how this book turned out and even more excited to dive into the rest of the nine (!) books in this series.

Formatted Attract Good Karma, book two in Tucson Is Where the Heart Is

Book two in the Tucson Is Where the Heart Is series has been formatted and is ready to be set up for pre-order, which I will be doing soon!

Started draft one of a roommates/forced proximity romance, the second in a ten book series

I’m also happy with how this book turned out. I haven’t written many roommates romances, but it’s super fun, so I definitely need to write more.

Released my first book!

This one’s a cheat, because I didn’t write Follow Your Bliss in February, but I must mention the fact that I released my first book because, well, it’s a pretty big freaking deal! Especially for someone like me, who’s been writing since I was a child. I wrote my first novel when I was a senior in high school and I’m 39 now. So it’s been 21 years of blood, sweat, and tears to get to this point, and part of me still can’t quite believe I’m officially a published author. But I’m so happy that my words and characters and plots are out in the world!
