Attract Good Karma Release Day

Well, here we are on April 19th, almost two weeks after the release day of book two in Tucson Is Where the Heart Is, Attract Good Karma.

You might be wondering what happened, so I’ll tell you: I hired a fabulous website designer, Jessica Lepe of Meet Cute Creative, and didn’t even think about the fact that my website would be inaccessible for a while as she worked her magic and that it would be down on the release day of Attract Good Karma.

The good news is I absolutely LOVE my website makeover. It’s everything I ever wanted in an author website.

The bad news is I didn’t get to post on release day, but better late than never, right?

So, in the spirit of my post on the release day of Follow Your Bliss, I’d like to share some fun facts about Attract Good Karma with you.

Fun Fact Number One

The character of Karma is similar to my younger sister, Em, and Gunnar, Karma’s dog, is a lot like my sister’s Chihuahua mix, Rih.

Fun Fact Number Two

I came up with the plot for this book when I read a romance about a wedding planner heroine whose ex-husband asks her to help him plan his wedding to another woman. I changed things up a bit by having Karma’s ex insist on staying friends and deciding to move to her hometown without asking her how she feels about it.

Fun Fact Number Three

I love Reese’s Peanut Butter cups as much as Karma, although since I’ve gotten into baking and started making buckeyes, a Reese’s copycat, I’ve stopped buying Reese’s all the time. If you love peanut butter and chocolate and have never made buckeyes, I urge you to. They’re super easy to put together and they taste a million times better than Reese’s (sorry, Hershey). Here’s my favorite recipe.

Fun Fact Number Four

I liked the idea of writing a hero who’s into fashion and a heroine who isn’t, flipping the script on what we typically find in romances. It was fun looking up “classy” outfits that Devlin might put together for himself.

Fun Fact Number Five

This was the easiest book of the series to write, hands down. I love second chance romances. They’re probably my number one favorite trope, if done right. So if you’re also a fan of second chance romances, I think you’re going to adore AGK!

I hope you enjoyed all my fun facts about Attract Good Karma. If you’d like to purchase the second book in Tucson Is Where the Heart Is, it’s available in ebook and paperback on Amazon.

Happy reading!
