One of the hardest things about being an unpublished writer is not being able to talk about what you’re working on.
Okay, I can talk about what I’m working on but I can’t spill too much because I want to save the fun details for the future, when I’m ready to publish.
But I’d like share more about what I’m writing, so every month I’ll post an update without giving away any spoilers.
So, without further ado, here’s what I wrote in December 2022:
Finished draft two of a fake engagement standalone
I was really happy with this book when I wrote the first draft and the second draft gave me a chance to smooth some things out. I ended up just as happy with the second draft, so hopefully I can get some beta reader feedback on it soon!
Finished draft three of a matchmaker, friends to lovers, first book in a three book series
I’m so excited about this series because it combines a lot of things I love into three books, and with the third draft of the first book complete, I’m ready to bring on the beta readers.
Finished draft three of a fake relationship, second book in a three book series
This book also turned out really well and is ready for beta readers to take a look at.
In February, my first book, Follow Your Bliss, comes out and I’m feeling a roller coaster of emotions at the thought of something I wrote being out in the world for everyone to read. I’ve been dreaming about this moment for a long time and can’t wait for the world to fall in love with my words and characters!
