One of the hardest things about being an unpublished writer is not being able to talk about what you’re working on.
Okay, I can talk about what I’m working on but I can’t spill too much because I want to save the fun details for the future, when I’m ready to publish.
But I’d like share more about what I’m writing, so every month I’ll post an update without giving away any spoilers.
So, without further ado, here’s what I wrote in January 2023:
Edited draft three of a one night stand/accidental pregnancy book, the third in a series
I’m thrilled with how this book has turned out. Next up? Beta readers!
Started an abandoned a forced proximity standalone
Sadly, despite how excited I was about this book, when I started writing it, I could not get into it. Maybe one day I’ll become inspired and try working on it again.
Started draft one of a second chance, the first in a new ten book series
Yes, you read that right. I’m embarking on a journey that both thrills and terrifies me. The longest series I’ve written so far has been four books. When I first thought about writing a ten book series, I doubted I could. But change and challenge are a big part of what makes writing fun and what helps people grow as writers, so I’m delighted to dive into this fictional small Arizona town I’ve created!
Next month, my first book, Follow Your Bliss, comes out and I could not be more excited! I’ll be posting on release day (February 14th) with some behind-the-scenes info. Look for that post, coming soon!
