Reflecting on my 2021 Writing Goals
Last year around this time, I posted my 2021 Writing Goals. Let’s see if I accomplished any of them (spoiler alert: I accomplished ONE). Goal One: Publish a Book Did I? No Here’s the thing: getting a book published is a long process, whether you’re going the traditional route or the self-publishing one. I finally decided I wanted to self-publish last year, so now I’m gearing up to have the first book in the series I’d like to release edited. Editing takes awhile, and depends on when freelance editors can fit me into their busy schedules. At this point, I think it’s wildly unrealistic for me to aim for publishing a book this year.
